The Kingfish made the most of NE Regionals in Salem, with many of the 12 and under swimmers rising to the occasion and qualifying for championships next week.

Day 2 top swims were put in by Ian Wilson and Mike Tautiva, qualifying for 12 and Under Championships. Mike Tautiva is a first time qualifier, getting a cut time in the 100 breast. Ian Wilson dropped about 13 seconds to qualify in the 200 free and he also squeaked into the 100 IM!!!

Wow!I guess the third day's a charm--the 11-12 age groupers really turned on the after burners!

New cut times for (I think I have them all):

• Ian Wilson (100 free and 50 fly)
• Kayla Burgess (50 fly)
• Mike Tautiva (50 breast)
• Jessie Goldberg (50 free)
• Ally Wolff (50 breast)

And a special congrats to 13-14 girls 200 free relay--Shelby Rader, Avery Riddle, Sarah Goldberg, and Elise Campbell. They won the event and went 1:47. And if you do the math, that's averaging 26 per 50.; Oh, and Elise Campbell split a 25.9 on that relay. That makes her the first girl in this team's history to go a 25 in a 50 free!!!!! Excluding maybe Krystin Roth who currently swims for Boston College and goes a 24.

And a special thank you to Coach Denise and Coach Lynn for supporting our swimmers through a very long meet.  Extra special thanks to Mrs. Burgess and Mrs. Davis, who stepped up to time for Kingfish, to fill in as timers.
