Just a reminder………………..there will be no rec practice on Sunday due to the meet!

Thanks,

NEED TIMERS

So for the meet this coming Sunday at Kingsbury we still need timers!!!!

I am in need of 16 timers and I only have 9 signed up!  Additionally, I need  a starter, place judge, a runner, and our illustrious officials!  I could also use a few various parents that can stand in if neededl!

Please volunteer!  Its a super easy job and I have the best of the best, Marty Morrissey, running the timers meeting to get you up to speed if you have never done it before, feel nervous, need some coaching, need a push, need the moral support to get on deck and have fun with the kids……………he’s the guy!

Please let me know via email that you’re in!!!!!  Honestly, pretty much everyone has signed off on the fact they would volunteer when they registered so now is your shining moment! 🙂

Any questions please feel free to get in touch otherwise, looking forward to a great turnout!

Bubble Up/9-19 Meet/parent meetings

LOTS OF  REMINDERS………………..

The 9/19 “meet”  at Roger Williams is more of a quick combined team practice with a few time trials at the end.  It will all be contained between 9 and noon.  Just putting this out there so you can plan accordingly.

As far as meets go, Coach Craft needs to know by end of day today  Friday, 9/11 if any rec swimmers WILL BE competing in meets.  All meets are posted on the site under the heading “uss”.  Check it out and please make it simple………..If your child as a rec swimmer WILL BE able and wanting to attend any meets email that to Coach Craft at jcraft@kingfishswimming.com and let him know the meet and the days within the meet they plan to attend.  All comp swimmers please know that your swimmer WILL BE entered in ALL  meets unless Coach Craft hears from you via email PLENTY OF TIME IN ADVANCE that you cannot make it.

Parent meetings for competitive swim parents will be held at the Kingsbury Club on Monday September 21st.  They will take place during your swimmers scheduled practice.  For example Developmental practice starts at 4 so while they are swimming those parents will meet in the tennis viewing room for their meeting.  Age Group parents will meet right after that juniors after that and so on.

Parent meetings for rec swim parents will take place on Tuesday September 22nd in the same location.  That meeting will begin at 4 for all rec parents that have swimmers in any of the 3 rec groups.

Bubble up starts this coming Monday the 14th so there will be no practices for any groups comp or rec for most of the week.  Of course they try and get it up in a timely fashion however, weather can delay it.  We hope to be back in the pool by Thursday or Friday of next week but once we have something concrete we will let you all know.  That being said there will be 2 practices held for JUNIORS AND SENIORS ONLY!  Monday morning at Kingsbury, practice for these 2 groups will be from 5-630am and Tuesday morning will be at PWP from 530-630am.

Any questions please don’t hestitate to email or call me at 774-766-9063
