Warwick Meet Afternoon Warmup Time Change

The afternoon warmup sessions tomorrow and Sunday will be at 130pm now. This affects all 12u swimmers which is their session.

Doors open for morning session to coaches at 8:30 and swimmers at 8:45.

Doors will open to parents at 9:00 am

Any chairs around the competition end of the pool and Bleacher seating are for the parents only. Please do not bring in any lawn chairs and please keep all fire exits clear at all times.

Swimmers seating is around the warm up pool only on the folding chairs. Please make sure all food makes its way into the garbage bins and try to keep the deck clean and clear.

We are asking for any extra officials and timers for the weekend. Any timers from other clubs will receive a ticket that allows them a complimentary meal in hospitality and our greatest appreciation for helping.

Holiday Order Deadline/Tshirt Order

A FEW THINGS………………………………..

I have been told by Rockland Athletics that all orders that families need to receive for the holidays must be placed no later than November 15th! Embroidery and screening take a ton of time so try to think ahead and get your orders placed early! This also applies to any items I stock such as towels, backpacks and parkas!!!

There is a tshirt/dri-fit/sweatshirt choice available with a “new” Kingfish quote. They are available as
short sleeve $15
long sleeve dri fit $18 hoodies $45

I will need a check in my box no later than Wednesday of next week October 26th, letting me know what item (if any) that you want and the size along with check made out to Kingfish Swimming for the correct amount listed above. See below for the image of the shirt.

Red/White/Blue LZR X Available

I received an email from our distributor letting me know they have received a limited supply of Red/White/Blue LZR X tech suits at an extremely discounted price!

Because these are our team colors and the suit is at the end of its limited production I have been given a great opportunity and want to pass on to our swimmers!

Suits and warmups are here!

I got our shipment of suits and warmups today and would like to get them to everyone that ordered and is in need of a suit for the meet on Saturday.

I am in the process of logging the items into everyones accounts tonite so if you email/text/call me tonite or tomorrow I can leave your items on my back deck where they will be labeled and you can pick up at your convenience.

I live at 244 Kingstown Way in Dux (most of you have been here at one point or another), super easy I will just put items in bags with swimmers name on bag and you can just pull in and grab.

My cell is 774-766-9063 if you don’t already have it so feel free to text or call as I mentioned.

I have been told caps were already shipped but they are coming from Cali and I don’t have yet. I may or may not have towels/backpacks/parkas as well tomorrow but that remains to be seen as the embroiderer/screener is backed up so it may be pushed to early next week.

Lets go to Sauchuk Farm

It is that time of year again for a fun team day at Sauchuk Farm in Plympton.

Sauchuk will host our team on October 24th from 4-530p with their corn maze, cow train, and lots of other fun things for everyone! As always, the more the merrier so siblings and friends are welcome. The cost is the same as in years past at $10 dollars a person and we just need a preliminary head count by Friday October 21st.

If you can email Coach Lauren Brown at laurenlizzie@yahoo.com by that date with your family name and how many will be attending it would be greatly appreciated! No collection of money will be done prior to the event, Coach Lauren will be at Sauchuk that day collecting from everyone prior to admission so please bring exact amount to cover who you bring and any additional cash to purchase refreshments.

There will not be any DEV or AG practice held that day but Junior and Senior practice will be held at its usual time.

Warmup Time Change For RWU meet AFTERNOON SESSION ONLY

There has been a warmup time change for the 13 over afternoon session for this Saturdays RWU meet.

Warmup has been changed to 12 noon with a meet start time of 12:50p.

Additionally, please find session event lineup as well as a psych sheet.

College Informational Night

Kingfish Swimming will be hosting a College Informational Night on October 20th at 7:15pm at the Kingsbury Club in Kingston.

We will have college coaches in to speak to our swimmers and answer questions they may have as they start to look at potential options for college.

This evening is open to all swimmers and their families from all Kingfish campuses.

We look forward to a good turnout and just ask that you please check in at the front desk upon entering the club to let them know you are there for the Kingfish College Night.

Warwick Meet 10/29-30

This email is just to confirm that the BU meet that was cancelled has in fact been replaced with a meet at McDermott Pool in Warwick, RI.

As mentioned a few weeks ago, our team will be moving towards a new platform over the next few months.
