Officials Clinic 4/23 RWU

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted April 19, 2017 at 10:45 pm

One last reminder………………

This  Sunday April 23rd there will be an officials training clinic at 9:00am at Roger Williams University in Bristol RI.   Our goal is to have at least 6 representatives from each location of our club attend this training to become certified officials.

Kingfish hosts about 5-6 meets annually.  Without having parents as officials, we will be unable to continue hosting these meets. Your time & effort will certainly help our club continue to advance.  As a sign of the importance and value to us needing officials, the club will reimburse any expenses incurred to register as an official, as well as credit your account $100.  Having our own officials will also give us a better opportunity to host championship level meets such as silvers or regionals!

At this time we have 6 parents attending to get certified and I would LOVE to see more!
Please e-mail me as well as
Carlos (the official) pereiracarlosh@aol.com if you would like to be added to the list for the clinic so that we can have an exact count.   More information about officiating can be found below:

Start of Long Course, Monday 4/3 KINGSTON

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted at 7:38 pm

Just A REMINDER……………………..

Long Course Season is starting up this coming Monday April 3rd for Developmental, Age Groupers, and Juniors.  If you haven’t registered your swimmer please do so prior to them attending practice next week.  If you can’t remember if you have already registered shoot me an email and I’d be happy to let you know.

The Kingsbury Club maintains that all swimmers must be checking in the front desk prior to heading out to the pool deck.  If your swimmers name is not on the roster they have indicated to me that they will not be allowed to enter the premises until they are listed on the roster and the only way to be listed on the roster is to be registered in our system.

If anyone has any questions or is having a problem registering feel free to call or email so I can help you out.

Bowling information for tomorrow 3/22

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted at 4:08 pm
AGE GROUPERS AND DEVELOPMENTAL BOWLING TOMORROW

We have quite a few swimmers that have signed up to go tomorrow and there are alot that haven’t paid yet.  The cost again is $10 per swimmer and exact cash is required.  The coaches will not have change nor will they have any extra money if someone comes without.

In the interest of getting the kids bowling as quickly as possible and for as long as they can, the coaches are asking for all swimmers to arrive at Alley Kat NO
LATER THAN 4 PM.   This will give the coaches time to collect monies and get the kids shoes for them. It would be super helpful if you can send your child with their shoe size as well.

Pickup time will change to 630 instead of 6 so that you can plan accordingly.

Any questions give me a call or feel free to email me back.
