Seniors may be altered slightly however, Coach Craft will let them know.

MEDFIELD KINGFISH………………..

I will be at the club tomorrow nite, April 7th from 6-7pm passing out equipment that was on order.  I have everyones caps, backpacks, mesh bags, towels, etc.

Suits, parkas, warmups are NOT in of course but once they arrive I will be delivering those as well.

Please make every effort to pick up your items or have your swimmer grab them while at practice.

KINGFISH MEDFIELD AAC TRANSFERS……………..

I am trying to register all AAC/OTHER transfers for NE Swim and I’m missing lots and lots of transfer forms.

I am going to list family names that I still need forms for.  

* If you did it online already please let me know.
* If you are not a transfer but are on this list, please let me know.

I need these forms and cannot send in a partial grouping.  If none of the conditions above apply you need to get the form off of neswim.com website, it is the transfer request form.  Fill it out and email it over to me. 

I want to get this done tomorrow as Kingfish Medfield developmental and age groupers start practice for long course this coming Monday and juniors and seniors started this past week.

Hello Kingfish Medfield,

Thank you to everyone that came to our parents meeting last nite!  I know it was chaotic and difficult to hear but we were working with what we had and hopefully, questions were answered and concerns were addressed for all.

There were several things that needed to be addressed which unfortunately weren’t so I will include them here.

1.    NE Swim reg fees were charged to all “new” Kingfish swimmers.  I broached this quickly last nite but my plan is to refund each swimmer that was already a US registered swimmer $72 into their escrow account which will cover some meet fees.  There is a $5 transfer fee for NE Swim so if this is acceptable no need to be in touch.  The only people I will need to hear from is any family that actually wants a check back in hand for $72.

2.    If you are a NEW swimmer, (not currently registered with NE Swim or haven’t been for awhile)  I NEED a copy of your swimmers birth cert or passport scanned and emailed to me as soon as possible.  This requirement applies to ALL competitive and rec swimmers, no exceptions.

3.    Practice schedules are being worked on diligently by Coach Kyle, Brad and Coach Butler.  Final revised schedules will be out and available by Friday and I will forward to everyone.  Medfield will (as promised) have their own page on our current website very soon and again, I will alert everyone when that happens.

4.    There were quite a few concerns raised last nite in regards to the fit of our Speedo suits therefore, I will be doing a Fit Clinic one evening next week at the Kingsbury Club.  I have not received the day nor the time from Coach Butler yet but as soon as I have it I will alert you all.  Please note, I will not place this suit order until I have done the clinic and have everyones sizes.  I would appreciate some help on that evening from about 4 or 5 parents.  I just need you all to man a table with a pen and my order form and once the swimmer decides on size of suit, warmup, parka (depending on what they are ordering) you would write down their info/sizing/etc.  Pretty easy, doesn’t require a ton of time but when I do this it goes by alot quicker if I have parents helping me out.  Once I give everyone the date if you are interested you can let me know.

5.    We have two team stores available for apparel/equipment ordering.  Our Kingfish apparel/equip store on our site that you can access if you have registered offers backpacks, mesh bags, car decals, kickboards, and things of this nature.  You can access the store from our homepage from the TOP where it says “for parents” it will drop down and the very bottom link says Kingfish Apparel/Equipment store.  You can also access from your team account.  We also have a team store through RocklandAthletics.com where all of our other apparel is ordered and sold.  If you go to the site, on the left hand side is personalized web stores.   Click that, go to sports and recreation, swimming and then us.    Please note these items are ordered from them and shipped from them however, I am up there several times a week and would be happy to pick up items for any of you when they are ready and get them out to you so you won’t have to pay the shipping fee.  If you order and you want this just put write in the notes section of your order “Lynn will pick up”.

6.  We also have a link on the bottom of our homepage (scrolling banner) to swimoutlet.com.  We are an affiliate of swim outlet and if you are going to purchase anything from them we ask that you click the link on our page as the team receives a percentage back on all orders placed.  These funds are put right back into the team to purchase training equipment, etc so every little bit helps!

7.  At this time Coach Kyles senior group for long course will be starting practice next Monday, March 28th.  As soon as we have a concrete time it will be sent out.  All other competitive long course  Medfield groups will be starting up on 4/4.  Again, times will be sent prior to.  Short course swimmers finish up on the 31st.  Please make sure if you are currently swimming short course and want to swim long course that your swimmer is registered prior to attending practice on April 4th.
