Medfield Parent Meeting

We are happy to announce that the third branch of Kingfish is now up and running at the Kingsbury Club in Medfield!

We will be holding a parent meeting for parents of all swimmers at this location only on Tuesday January 19th at 530pm.

Location within the club to be determined however, we have been told one of the sports room upstairs will be put aside so please ask at the front desk that evening and someone will be able to direct you.

This meeting will be very informative and will allow parents to ask questions of Coach Kate Butler as well as Head Coach Jay Craft.  Please make every effor to have at least one parent per swimmer attend to make sure you don’t miss out on anything!  I will be there as well to answer any questions regarding, dues, meets, registration, equipment etc.  I will also have equipment with me to purchase such as caps, bags, boards and I will be sizing swimmers for team suits if they have not yet been sized. 

Additionally, if you have any friends or someone that may be interested in signing their child up for one of our programs please feel free to bring them along!

Towel Pickup

I will be at the club on Wednesday from 5-6pm to have pickup for parents that ordered towels for their swimmers.

If you can’t make it for some reason email me and I can leave on my backporch if you want to do pickup to have for the holiday.

My address is 244 Kingstown Way, Duxbury.  I am right up the street from the club same side of the street.

Roger Williams Entry/Training equp

All swimmers need to do this on their own OR make sure to bring their DRY equipment on Tuesday and Wednesday and the coaches will have permanent black markers to help out.
Everyones names need to be on their training equipment.
Additionally, here is the entry for the Roger Williams meet next weekend.

Mass Maritime Meet Entry

Attached please find our meet entry for the Mass Maritime meet next weekend.

Here is the link to all meet information regarding warmup times, start times, which age groups are swimming when etc.

Additionally, please make note that the meet scheduled at home on 2/7 will be taking place at Mass Maritime instead.    Please let Coach Craft know if your rec swimmer would like to participate in that meet and any comp swimmers that have a conflct please notify Coach as well.

Warmups, Winter Rec, Towels/Backpacks

SOOOOOOOO……………….I will be dropping off the towel and backpack orders that I have received tomorrow to Rockland Athletics.  If you haven’t had the time, forgotten to do so, or are just deciding and you can email in the am I will drop off an item for you as well!  Keep in mind there will be no other opportunities for holiday gifts after this so plan accordingly.  

I have all the warmup jackets that were ordered finally………….  I will be at the club at 6:30 on Monday for pickup in the front lobby.  If you can’t make it or your swimmer isn’t at practice on Monday please email me and set up a time to pick up at my house.

Please remember fall rec ends up on Tuesday 11/24 so if you are planning on having your child swim for winter rec please get them registered now so that the season change will be seamless.
