Winter Rec/Spring Rec/Long Course

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted February 10, 2015 at 10:19 pm

Just a reminder winter rec will be finishing up on February 27.  Spring rec will be starting up on March 3rd and will be going back to the schedule of times we had for fall.  Tues/Thurs 4-530p, Saturdays 730-9a and Sundays 1030-12.  All practices will be held at PWP for spring.  Registration is live NOW and  space is filling up quickly as spring tends to do so make sure to get your swimmer registered soon to secure their spot!

On our competitive side we will be kicking off the start of our exciting championship season this weekend!  Practice schedules will stay the same right through March 15 which is when we will take a well deserved 2 week break before jumping back into the pool on March 30th to begin training for our long course season.  Some qualifiers will swim beyond the March 15th date according to Coach Crafts discretion.  That being said, you can get your athlete registered at any point from now through mid March for long course as registration is available now!

Team store will be open again in February to allow families to purchase any items they may need to get ready for long course season!  Dates will be coming shortly!

As always, any questions feel free to email me or reach me via cell at 774-766-9063.

Thanks,

Lynn

Relay Lineup

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted February 4, 2015 at 4:24 pm

Hello everyone! Hope you survived the snow and that harrowing Pats victory!!

I have attached the TENTATIVE relay report for Regionals. I have only included swimmers on relays that also have individual events that day. The relays are at the end of the session (except the 8 and under relays which are mid-session). The medleys are Saturday and the free relays are Sunday. All swimmers are expected to stay for the relays they are entered into. We will post the official lineups at the beginning of the actual session. For the most part, they shouldn’t change.

Thanks and let’s get ready for some FAST SWIMMING!!!!!

polar plunge details

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted December 31, 2014 at 9:09 am

Happy New Year!  Looking forward to seeing the whole team at Humarock Beach tomorrow for some great fun!

The beach is at 11 Marshfield Ave in Humarock, which is technically Scituate but seems like it is in Marshfield.

Get there by 11:30 because it gets very crowded.

Bring:
Warm clothes
A couple towels
An old pair of sneakers for running to and from the water
Canned goods for charity
A thermos of hot chocolate and cups to share.

Wear LOTS of Kingfish attire for some great photos.

Even if you don’t plan to jump in the water, you are welcome to come and fake it.

All parents should also make the plunge.

Speaking from experience, it is a great way to start a new year.

Towel Pickup

Written by Lynn Oneil Posted December 17, 2014 at 11:56 pm

I will be at the Kingsbury Club this Friday in the front lobby from 415-515 for families to pick up their towels.

If this isn’t a gift and you want your swimmer to grab it on the way into practice have them do so.

If you can’t make the pickup feel free to email me or call me and set up another day/time that works and I can leave it outside at my house.

Thanks!
